CHAPTER 13
Chapter 13 is essentially a debt consolidation involving a repayment plan, approved by the Court, for repaying debts over a 3 to 5-year period. Chapter 13 is ideal for income earning debtors as it allows the restructuring of secured debt by changing contract terms and/or interest rates.
